What we collect

ProxyThis collects the minimum data needed to test your proxies. When you submit a proxy list, it is temporarily stored on our secure servers for processing. We do not require an account or collect personal information to use ProxyThis.

Proxy data handling

The proxies you submit are used solely to run the test you requested. Each proxy is tested by making a real HTTP request through it to a neutral IP-echo endpoint. Test results (status, response time, country) are stored temporarily so you can export them. All data is automatically deleted within 24 hours. We never share, sell, or use your proxy lists for any other purpose.

Rate limiting

To prevent abuse, we track the number of test jobs submitted per IP address per hour. IP addresses are hashed before storage and are never stored in plain text.

Analytics

We use Vercel Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use the site. These tools collect anonymous usage data such as page views, browser type, and device type. No personally identifiable information is collected through analytics. We also use Google Analytics (if configured) for search console integration.

Cookies

ProxyThis uses a minimal number of cookies required by our analytics providers. We do not use cookies for advertising or tracking across other websites.

Affiliate links

When you click a link to a recommended proxy provider, we record an anonymous click event (hashed IP and referring page) for our own tracking purposes. You are redirected to the provider's website and their privacy policy then applies. See our Affiliate Disclosure for details.

Third-party services

We use Neon Postgres for database storage and Cloudflare for DDoS protection and CDN. Geolocation data is provided by IPinfo or MaxMind GeoLite2. Each of these services has their own privacy policies.

Children

ProxyThis is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
